One fabulous recommendation from my parents was the humorous (English speaking) Fat Tire Bicycle Tour of Paris. We did this the first evening of our arrival. It included a very fun ride through the streets of Paris "helping" us get oriented to the layout of the city. We were happy to be able to meet other Americans touring this great city. We had done a bike ride through Washington DC and found it a great way to see a city. We got SEVERAL embarrassing cheers from the locals sitting outside at cafe's. It really helped with the humor of the evening. Seriously so much fun. It also included a river tour complete with cokes (and actually wine for most others)
Beautiful Evening
These are my favorite pictures of Notre Dame. It was a beautiful evening sunset. We rode up to it and were able to walk around and find a yummy gelato nearby. There is nothing like a gutter peering down at you ready to spit.
Everything is so beautiful it hardly seems real.
Posing in front of the Louvre The modern glass pyramid is really unusual in a see of ornate old stone buildings. The Roses behind Notre Dame were in full bloom.
