So much fun around town

This is sand in the city. We did it in two parts this year. We got the preview as they were building sand sculptures and the kids got to play in a heap of sand. There was a little girl with thick gorgeous hair plowing entire sections of sand with her head. I felt bad for that mom and bath time. Then a couple days later we went down after they were finished.




There was a pool of water with various creatures in it for kids to touch and mangle to their delight. It was perfect timing we have been talking about geoducks and Emma's favorite sea creature is the sea star, so their curiosity was definately piqued

This was my favorite sculpture. It was reminiscent of Hawaii with Tiki accents. My favorite was how they recreated the surf. Really cool.

A random turtle walking around. No, actually there was this couple there with all kinds of exotic animals. I saw a pink parrot for the first time and they had a hairy looking spider, I didn't get too close to it.


I asked this guy what he was smirking at, he had no reply.



I love the free spirits of kids.




A trip to the fountains down town with our friends the Burbidges It was a perfect day, warm and sunny with not very many people down there.



A trip out to Burfoot park when Emma was out of town with Granny and Papa





As mentioned before, this is Zachary's new favorite pastime. Kneeboarding. Thanks to Barrett for getting these guys going. They look so little out there.
