We went to Seattle this last weekend to see the stage show Lion King. It is by far my favorite show. We saw it once when Emma was maybe 3 or 4 and she could still remember it. The costumes are gorgeous and they use the aisles to enter the stage. They have a huge life size elephant made of 4 individuals as the legs, meticulously timing their steps. It is truly amazing hearing these gorgeous voices surrounding you singing in perfect harmony. I get chills just thinking about it.
Unfortunately, one of the hyenas snapped at Zachary who was on the aisle seat. Scary for anyone, really. He kept looking back behind him the rest of the show to make sure there were no more of those coming down. The music is very inspirational and powerful live. The kids were very well behaved were just wide eyed the whole show. It was fun to watch them. We were very grateful to Ryan's parents that were so generous to give our family this memory for our Christmas.
This would have been a great picture if it weren't for that car scooting in last second. Arg.
Heading to Seattle
Marsh holding hands with dad.
Catching a bite to eat at the pier.
A rare picture with my sweetie. It was a gorgeous afternoon in Seattle.

We are so jealous! It sounded incredible, and we really wanted to go.....but, the money went into the Disneyland pot. I'm sure you guys see that as a worthy cause, right?
Hey I am a little jealous too. It sounds fantastic! I was just hearing earlier today that it is closing March 15th. Oh well, maybe next time.
What great memories! And what a great idea for grandparents to give as a present! MUCH better than MORE toys!
