A few weeks ago we set out for a hike; here are highlights of Mowich, and Eunice lakes, then hefty climb up to Tolmie Lookout on the Northwest corner of Mount Rainier. Elevation gain about 1100 feet: mosquitos were ravenous.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day... all but one smudge of clouds hugging the grand finale view of the mountain as it does. It just so happened that when we peaked, the clouds were playing a peek a boo game with the mountain and we lost. oh well. We got a great shot of the lakes below, the valley to the north, and the hill we had just climbed up.

Hey, we've done that hike and it's not easy! Nice work for your kids!! Were there chipmunks for feed up top?
