Georgia on my mind

We are hanging out in Georgia for a couple months while Ryan is working. Of course the whole family was on board to go with dad. We pulled our kids out of school, which didn't really break their hearts. They were really impressed by the condo we are staying at. Mostly because it was really clean when we got here and Emma has her own bathroom and the boys have their own. Plus the simple fact that it has a pool has them pretty sold. They have really taken to being super hellers and reconnecting with each other. They spend all day together which with school and different schedules at home they don't get that.

The first week was good. It was rainy, but that didn't keep my little
Washingtonians away from the pool. It has been sunny in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
The kids have really gotten into their math books and writting things we brought. Zach is learning how to tell time with a real clock. He has a naturally curious mind so it has been fun teaching him. I forgot Marshalls reading book at home so he is doing lots of cutting paper. Emma loves multiplication but hates subtraction- go figure.

This last weekend we ran down to Disneyworld. It was a quick trip but the highlight was the waterparks. They were very fun. We happened to be there on a Star Wars weekend. So we saw chewbacca, Anikan, C3PO, and, the characters were dressed up in Star Wars attire. It was pretty fun. We hit quite a bit of rain but it usually cleared out. On the way home we drove through the worst thunderstorm I have ever seen. Ryan said it wasn't that bad, but it was. It was raining so hard you could barely get the wipers to move fast enough. Lighning was striking all around us. I couldn't hear myself think. I was so glad when we passed it.

I have killed my first cockroach and I walked through the grass for 30 seconds and came up with some sort of rash. I still don't know what it was. We Are spoiled in the Northwest with no gross bugs.

While we are here we are going to try to see the sights and explore Georgia. I think the Okeefanokee
