Fun Fair

Saturday was gorgeous, and it happened to be the day of the annual fun fair. After finishing morning chores, we headed off to this fun free event! The highlights were the circus train that you can ride on and the monsterous bounce houses. If we need new helmets, we get them here every year. They are $5 and they custom fit them. This year we had to get a new one for Marshall. She got a small child's size at first and I kind of giggled. He has somewhat of a large head so it was funny to watch her try to find one that would fit.


We headed up north and hit one of our favorite local dives. Pick quick in Fife. It looks like a hole in the wall but it has THE BEST fries and shakes. The burgers are just so-so, but the fries are real potatoes, dripping in grease. I think I gained a pound just thinking about it!!! We really packed a lot in that day, but it felt good to get the house in order, and then get to play afterward.
