Christmas was awesome. We were able to stay home for Christmas this year and I just love being able to do that. For Christmas Eve we went to my mom's and they are always good about inviting Ryan's parents, and my sister and her family came down too. We had a great meal and read the nativity story and had real costumes this year thanks to my very talented mom. We went home and the kids got their Christmas jammies. Emma was so wanting to see santa so she stayed up until 11:30 trying to catch him. We got woken up by Emma screaming in this high pitched scream that Im sure our canine friends would hear in Lacey. Anyway she woke up the whole household at 7:30.
We had dinner at Ryan's mom's house, had our traditional crab dinner at my parents, 4of my siblings and their families were here. It was just a great chance to be with everyone. We even had our first houseguests. My bro and sis in law, Eric and Linda and 3 boys.
We had a great time with our families and feel very blessed to have healthy kids, family close by, a warm home, and have the gospel of Jesus Christ that teaches us how to be better than we are.
