End of Summer

We are now ending another summer (well, season in which we are not in school or have schedules) We had a great time even considering the lack of sunshine and really hot days. We had great fun with cousins all summer, we got to do lots of exploring. We found out about National Park Passports. They are so cool and a bit nerdy, that's why I love them. Every national park and forest has a unique stamp that you can stamp in your passport to keep track of your adventures. It looks very official too.

Emma learned how to ride a bike, how to tie her shoelaces, and got to practice a lot of swimming. Zach has learned confidence in his reading, discovered his love for swimming, and learned lots about animals. Marshall has potty trained himself. Need I say more. I am in denial about getting back into school schedule. The kids start at 8:10 this year. I think it will be harder on mom than the rest of them. Zach is in Kindergarden and Emma in 2nd grade. That leaves Marsh at home with mom all day long at least two days a week. Poor kid. Somehow I think he'll do just fine........

8:10!! That's such a bummer! We are 8:45, which I can handle. But I guess you will get more afternoons with the kids!

I had a dream last night that when I got to the transition of the bike, we were suppose to have any American Flag to fly, attached to our bikes. Of course, I wasn't prepared....and let's just say it went all down hill from there. :)
