10. It is beautiful here. If you can get past the grey skies. It is heaven on earth. Green grass green trees gorgeous views of Mount Rainier... when it's "out"
9. We are close to our family. We are incredible blessed to live near to both sets of our parents. I love that our kids know their grandparents.
8. There are so many things for kids and big kids can do. Just in our small town there are festivals, free concerts in the parks and fun times for the family.
7. We have so many close friends they make the cloudy days bearable.
6. It makes it so much more fun when we get sunshine. Its like best thing when it breaks through partly sunny (who else in the country uses this phrase) and is full blown Sun.
5. You get to make fun of all the pasty white shirtless dudes in their trucks, when that first warmish day appears, they cant stand the extra heat that their t-shirt provides. Oh yeah they are so cool.
4. School still gets out... need I say more.
3. This year the much anticipated arrival of Emma's fav. cousin will be here most of the summer. We have only been counting down since Christmas.
2. We have awesome hikes around here its awesome to get out in nature and appreciate everything.
1. Home is where the heart is.
We love all the nuances WA has to offer. It makes it all worth it on this Rainy June day.
